Red

The color red has always been one of passion and beauty. Why not wrap anyone or anything in that unique color? Both exposing and invisible. Exciting to see where this series leads.

Sound of Silence/2025

72 x 40

After reading about a piece of art being censored, I was so very moved. As an artist, I responded in the way I know best: by creating. Using my photography, I transformed my emotions into a textile piece that also serves as a self-portrait. This work became a means of release—a way to confront and let go of the judgments I’ve carried about my body.

In the process, I discovered something unexpected: the act of creating in silence became a way to find my own voice. By allowing the work to speak for itself, I invite viewers to engage with it on their own terms. Each person may resonate with something different—whether it’s the themes of censorship, self-acceptance, or the quiet power of finding one’s voice.
